I’m Danelle, an oil painter in Ketchikan, Alaska. I sailed here in 1981 as a teenager with my family on the boat we’d been living on for five years. In 1988 I sailed with my dad from Hawaii to Seattle – what an adventure that was!
My life on the cold, wild waters of the Northwest gave me a love for nature, animals and sharing the connections I feel for them in my oil paintings.
